Invention of Eye Drops Through the Quran

Invention of Eye Drops Through the Quran
And he [Ya’qub (Jacob)] turned away from them and said: "Alas, my grief for Yusuf (Joseph)!" And he lost his sight because of the sorrow that he was suppressing.
(The Noble Quran 12:84)
"Go with this shirt of mine, and cast it over the face of my father, he will become clear-sighted, and bring to me all your family."
(The Noble Quran 12:93)
For the first time, an Egyptian scientist, Prof. Dr. ‘Abdul Basit Muhammad Sayyid, manufactured drops for treating cataracts inspired by Prophet Yusuf’s (peace be upon him) shirt!
Dr. Sayyid explains: “It began with the Holy Quran. One day at Fajr I was reading the book of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, in the story of Yoosuf, peace be upon him. That amazing story made me pause, and I began to think of the verses which tell the story of the conspiracy of Yoosuf’s brothers against him, and how his father ended up after he lost him, how he lost his eyesight and was affected by cataracts, and then how the mercy of Allah reached him in the shirt of healing which the bringer of glad tidings threw on his face and he regained his sight.
“I began to wonder what could have been in Yoosuf’s shirt so that this healing could take place and his eyesight could be restored. Although I believe that the story tells of a miracle which Allah, Most High, caused to happen at the hands of one of His Prophets, namely Yoosuf, peace be upon him, I realized that in addition to the spiritual aspect that may be understood from the story, there was also a material aspect which we may understand through research and which would confirm the truthfulness of the Qur’an which tells us this story as it happened. So I began to research until Allah guided me to this matter.” (Ahmad Y. A.-H., 2010, p.395-396)
The following questions were posed to Dr. ‘Abdul Basit:
“Q: What could there have been of healing in the shirt of Yoosuf (peace be upon him)?
A: “After thinking about it, we could not come up with anything other than sweat. So our research was about the components of human sweat. We took lenses that had been extracted from eyes by traditional surgical methods, and we soaked them in sweat, and we found that gradual transparency began to occur in these opaque lenses.
“The next question was: Were all the components of sweat effective in this case, or was it just one of these components? By separating them, it was possible to reach one of the basic components, which is the compound urea, which can be chemically prepared ...”
After testing the drops, “it was found that the amount of light passing through [the lens of the eye] increased from 2 percent to 60 percent in a quarter of an hour ... and to 99 percent after an hour.” (Ahmad Y. A.-H., 2010, p.399-400)
“Q: Do you think that this research represents an incentive to do more research and applied studies based on the texts of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah?
A: Definitely. The miracles of the Holy Qur’an never cease. I believe that focusing on studying the texts of the Qur’an and Sunnah with awareness will open new horizons in all fields, to serve mankind in all places.” (Ahmad Y. A.-H., 2010, p.402)

Benefis of BANANA: WHEN YOU EAT 2 BANANAS A DAY

Depression
Many people who suffer from depression experienced significant improvement after eating banana, according to a study conducted by MIND. Bananas are rich in tryptophan which is converted into serotonin, a neurotransmitter that helps you relax, boost your mood and can help you overcome depression.

PMS
Bananas are rich source of vitamin B6 which has the ability to regulate blood sugar levels and improve your mood.

Anemia
Regular consumption of bananas can help you fight anemia due to its high iron levels. Iron stimulates the production of red blood cells and therefore it increases hemoglobin levels in the blood.

Blood Pressure
Banana is high in potassium and low in sodium which is the perfect combination for healthy blood pressure. Therefore, US Food and Drug Administration has confirmed the fruit`s ability to lower blood pressure and protect from stroke.

Brain Power
A study conducted on 200 students at a Twickenham school ( England )have found that eating bananas can boost brain power. The participants consumed bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch and the results showed that this fruit improved their learning abilities and helped through their exams due to high potassium levels found in bananas.

Constipation
Bananas are loaded with fiber, which can stimulate regular bowel movements and relieve constipation.

Hangovers
Prepare a banana milkshake with honey to quickly get rid of your hangover. This fruit will soothe your stomach and honey will increase the lowered blood sugar levels, and milk will rehydrate and refresh your body.

Heartburn
Bananas have natural antacid properties which can help you with heartburn. Just one banana can instantly soothe your heartburn symptoms.

Morning Sickness
Having a banana snack will maintain your blood sugars normal and will protect you from morning sickness.

Mosquito Bites
Take the inside of a banana skin and rub it into the affected area. It will reduce swelling and irritation in just a few minutes.

Nerves
Banana is a rich source of B vitamins which have the ability to calm and relax the nervous system.
The Institute of Psychology in Austria conducted several studies examining 5,000 hospital patients. The study results have shown that obesity generally occurred in people with high-pressure jobs. The scientists recommend consuming one banana every two hours in order to control blood sugar levels and avoid food cravings while at work.

Ulcers
The smoothness and soft texture of bananas is the major reason why it is used as a natural remedy for intestinal issues. It has the ability to coat the lining of the stomach and therefore reduce irritation and over-acidity.

Temperature Control
In Thailand and many other cultures around the world, bananas are used to lower the temperature in future mothers due to their natural cooling effect.

When compared to an apple, banana contains:
–          Four times the protein
–          Twice the carbohydrate
–          Three times the phosphorus
–           Five times the vitamin A and iron
–          Twice the other vitamins and minerals

The dark side of Nobel prizewinning research

October 4, 2015 by Hugues Honore!

Think of the Nobel prizes and you think of groundbreaking research bettering mankind, but the awards have also honoured some quite unhumanitarian inventions such as chemical weapons, DDT and lobotomies.
Numerous Nobel prize controversies have erupted over the years: authors who were overlooked, scientists who claimed their discovery came first, or peace prizes that divided public opinion.
But some of the science prizes appear in hindsight to be embarrassing choices by the committees.
When the 2013 Nobel Peace Prize went to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, it was perhaps a way of making up for the Nobel "war prize" it awarded to German chemist Fritz Haber in 1918.
Haber was honoured with the chemistry prize for his work on the synthesis of ammonia, which was crucial for developing fertilizers for food production.
But Haber, known as the "father of chemical warfare", also developed poisonous gases used in trench warfare in World War I at the Battle of Ypres which he supervised himself.
After Germany's defeat in the war, "he didn't expect to win a prize. He was more afraid of a court martial," Swedish chemist Inger Ingmanson, who wrote a book about Haber's prize, told AFP.
"Some saw it as a Germanophile prize. There were people who had wanted Sweden to join the war alongside Germany."
The prize remains one of the most contested Nobels ever awarded—the jury had to be aware of Haber's role in, and the effects of, chlorine gas being used in the trenches. But he had also brought the world revolutionary fertilizers.
French chemist Victor Grignard, who also developed poisonous gases, won a Nobel prize too, but that was in 1912, before the outbreak of World War I and before their uses in warfare.
Odd timing
The 1918 controversy might have encouraged the Stockholm jury to think carefully about the laureates they choose after a conflict.
The 1962 Nobel Prize medal awarded to Dr. Francis Crick for discovering the structure of DNA

The 1962 Nobel Prize medal awarded to Dr. Francis Crick for discovering the structure of DNA
Yet in November 1945, just three months after atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Nobel chemistry prize honoured the discovery of nuclear fission.
The laureate was another German, Otto Hahn, whose 1938 discovery was crucial to the development of atomic bombs.
However, Hahn never worked on the military applications of his discovery and upon learning, while in captivity as a prisoner-of-war in England, that a nuclear bomb had been dropped, he told his fellow captives: "I am thankful we (Germany) didn't succeed" in building the bomb.
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences' choice is bewildering, especially given its apparent urgency right after the damages just wreaked by the bombs.
Nobel archives reveal that the Academy had wanted to honour Hahn already in 1940. As of 1944, he was considered by his peers as a "secret Nobel laureate" who just needed to wait until the end of the war to collect his prize.
According to a 1995 article in the scientific journal Nature, Hahn's nomination was supported by academics who saw him—the only candidate nominated for the Nobel Chemistry Prize in 1944—as a laureate worthy of the science prize regardless of political considerations. Other jury members would have preferred to wait to find out more about the US' top-secret war-time research on the bomb, but they were in the minority.
Hahn ultimately won the 1944 prize, though it was only awarded to him after the end of the war in 1945.
Scorned laureates
Hahn's discovery as such was not so controversial, only the later application of it.

The same cannot be said for some other Nobel research, including that of Portuguese neurologist Egas Moniz, who won the 1949 Nobel Medicine Prize "for his discovery of the therapeutic value of leucotomy in certain psychoses".
Today the brain surgery procedure is known as a lobotomy and is only used in rare circumstances. The Nobel Foundation's website notes soberly that the surgery was "controversial".
Bengt Jansson, a psychiatrist and former member of the medicine prize selection committee, wrote: "I see no reason for indignation at what was done in the 1940s as at that time there were no other alternatives!"
Chemical treatments for mental illnesses were later developed.
And then there are the laureates blasted by environmentalists.

One year before Moniz, the medicine prize jury honoured Swiss scientist Paul Mueller for his discovery that DDT could be used to kill insects that spread malaria.
DDT was later banned worldwide, after it was discovered to pose a threat to humans and wildlife.
Nonetheless, pesticides went on to play a role in another Nobel.
In 1970, US biologist Norman Borlaug won the Nobel Peace Prize for introducing modern agricultural production techniques to Mexico, Pakistan and India, including genetic crossbreeding.

Coffee Discovered and Spreading by Muslims.

Love Coffee? Thank Muslims for Discovering and Spreading It

Today is National Coffee Day. Coffee is one of the world’s most popular drinks. But did you know Muslims discovered coffee and helped spread it through the world by way of the Hajj pilgrimage?
The origin of coffee
In the 1400s coffee became a very popular drink among Muslims in Yemen, in the southern Arabian Peninsula. Legend goes that a shepherd (some say in Yemen, some say in Ethiopia) noticed that his goats became very energetic and jumpy when they ate beans from a particular tree. He had the courage to try them himself, noticing they gave him an energy boost. Over time, the tradition of roasting the beans and immersing them in water to create a sour yet powerful drink developed, and thus, coffee was born.
The birth of the coffeehouse
You know what else you can thank Muslims for? Your local coffee shop as Muslims were the first to develop coffeehouses, explains Lost Islamic History:
Coffeehouses specializing in the new drink began to spring up in all the major cities of the Muslim world: Cairo, Istanbul, Damascus, Baghdad. From the Muslim world, the drink found its way into Europe through the great merchant city of Venice. Although it was at first denounced as the “Muslim drink” by Catholic authorities, coffee became a part of European culture. The coffeehouses of the 1600s was where philosophers met and discussed issues such as the rights of man, the role of government, and democracy. These discussions over coffee spawned what became the Enlightenment, one of the most powerful intellectual movements of the modern world.
From a Yemeni/Ethiopian shepherd to shaping European political thought to over 1 billion cups per day, this Muslim innovation is one of the most important inventions of human history.
The Hajj pilgrimage spread coffee across the world
The Ka‘bah in Mecca, 1953.
The Ka‘bah in Mecca, 1953.
How did the habit of coffee, a seemingly Muslim phenomenon, get spread to Europe and eventually the entire world? Simple. By way of Hajj, the annual holy pilgrimage to Mecca made by Muslims all over the world. The National Coffee Association writes on the history of coffee:
With thousands of pilgrims visiting the holy city of Mecca each year from all over the world, knowledge of this “wine of Araby” began to spread.
This yearly visit to Mecca is Hajj, the annual pilgrimage that brings millions to the city today. As Muslims came from Europe, they took coffee back with them. Soon, the western world caught on to the drink and the rest, as they say, is history.
So drink on bean lovers and enjoy National Coffee Day. Just be sure to remember your Muslim neighbor and their history when you do.

How Islam Deals with Depression

"Have A Nice Day . . ."sad face3
But What If I'm Not Happy?
What Does Islam Say?
ISLAM NEWSROOM DATELINE: "How Muslims Deal with Depression"
We ask Allah to accept from all of us - our prayers, fasting the 6 days this month, charity, sacrifices for His sake and most of all - May Allah grant us success in the Next Life - Ameen.
-------- Remember - Happiness Comes in 'CANS' --------
But not everyone is happy! sad face_2
A sister wrote to us asking for prayers and mentioned being all alone and helpless. She can't be with her husband and lost her job - things look a bit hopeless and she's sad. Even asking Allah to take her life . . .
Eid but sadness and depression
... from a "sad sister in Islam"
Please pray for her and all of our sisters and brothers who are in difficulty in these days.
Here's some advice to myself and all of us when we feel sad, lonely or depressed for any reason -- (from Islam, of course)...
Think about a nice quiet place on a beautiful day with flowers, birds chirping and children laughing.
Now close your eyes and see the sparkle of the sun dancing on the waters near the edge of a small pond.
Listen to your heart and know it is beating for Allah, because Allah gave you this heart.
He also gave you life. He gave you a heart, a brain, two eyes, two ears, and most of all He gave you understanding.
You know He created you and gave you so many things - Don't waste a single precious moment of your life.
It will all be over so soon, and we will think, "What happened? Life is too short..."
Did you know -- Our prophet, peace be upon him, was a normal human being and although he was so perfect in many ways, he also went through some of the same things you and I face today.
Did you know Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, at times also suffered with pains and aches just like any of us?
He also felt sad and even depressed sometimes.
What did he do?
How did he handle this?
He taught us what to do and it really helps - If we do it.
Here's one formula for success over depression:
  1. Make wudu - got into the bathroom and clean yourself for prayers
  2. Put on something nice that makes you feel good and happy
  3. Face toward the qiblah (direction of Makkah)
  4. Say "Allahu Akbar!" (Allah is Greater - than anything He created)
  5. Place your hands on your chest, right hand over the left hand
  6. Begin the prayer - when you get to the words "Ihdinah siratul mustaqiimSTOP
  7. Just for a brief second wait and realize what you just said, "Ihdinah siratul mustaqiim"
  8. You just asked Almighty God - "Guide us.."
  9. "Guide us to the straight path (that leads to Heaven and Allah)
  10. "The path of those who have the biggest FAVOR of Allah (Paradise)"
  11. "NOT the path of those who have the WRATH of Allah.."
  12. "NOR those who are lost (wandering around trying to make up their own way..."
  13. Then continue your salat until the end
  14. Remember, every time you pray - stop for a second and think what you are saying
  15. Also - know the meaning of the words in Arabic, so you feel it deeper inside your heart (inshallah)
Sometimes women cannot offer their "salat" (this does not mean prayer - it means connected communication with Almighty Allah)
When this happens, you can continue make supplications and remembrance of Almighty God - Allah.
Try this . .
Yaa Rabbi (O my Lord)! Yaa Rabbi - Yaa Rabbi! Anta Salam (You are THE PEACE), wa minka Salam (and from You comes PEACE), wa Dhul Jalaly wal-Akram (combines glory and beauty, for there is an awesome Glory and Beauty of the Almighty)

The Names of Allah (Subhannah wa Ta'ala)

وَلِلّهِ الأَسْمَاء الْحُسْنَى فَادْعُوهُ بِهَا وَذَرُواْ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي

And to Allah belongs the most beautiful Names, so call on Him by them. And leave those who practice deviation concerning His names. They will be paid back for what they have been doing. (Quran 7:80)
{Allahu Laa elaaha illa huwa-lahu lismaa'ul Husnaa}
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ
Allah! There is no Allah except Him. His are the most beautiful names. (Quran 20:7)
{Huwa llahu alKhaaliqul-Baaree'ul Musaweru-lahu al'ismaa'u AlHusnaa! Yusabbi-Hu lahu maa fissamaawaati wal'ardhi wa huwal 'Azizul HaKeem}
He is Allah, the Creator, the Shaper out of nothing, the Fashioner. His are the most beautiful names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, and He is the Mighty, the Wise. (Quran 59:24)
Happiness Comes in "CANS"You "CAN" be Happy
If you work for Allah!

Atheist vs. Abu Hanifah?

ANSWERS FOR ATHEISTS
by Imam Abu Hanifah
Atheism? Islam? Evolution? Creation? Science? God?
-- Where are the real answers?
-- Where's the PROOF?
Read . .

Imam Abu Hanifahvs.
the Athiest

Long ago in the city of Baghdad, there was a Muslim empire. On one side of the River Tigris were the royal palaces and on the other side was the city.
The Muslims were gathered in the Royal Palace when an athiest approached them.
He said to them:
‘I don’t believe in God, there cannot be a God, you cannot hear Him or see Him, you’re wasting your time! Bring me your best debator and I will debate this issue with him.’
The best debator at the time was Imam Abu Hanifah Rahimullah. A messenger from amongst the Muslims was sent over the River Tigris to the city, where Abu Hanifah Rahimullah was, in order to tell him about the athiest who was awaiting him.
On crossing the River Tigris, the messenger conveyed the message to Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah saying:
‘Oh Abu Hanifah, an athiest is waiting for you, to debate you, please come!’
Abu Hanifah Rahimullah told the messeneger that he would be on his way.
The messenger went over the River Tigris once again and to the Royal Palaces, where everyone including the athiest awaited the arrival of Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah.
It was sunset at the time and one hour had passed, but Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah still hadn’t arrived.
Another hour had passed, but still there was no sign of him.
The Muslims started to become tense and worried about his late arrival.
They did not want the athiest to think that they were too scared to debate him, yet they did not want to take up the challenge themselves as Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah was the best of Debators from amongst the Muslims.
Yet, another hour passed, and suddenly the athiest started laughing and said:
‘Your best debator is too scared! He knows he’s wrong, he is too frightened to come and debate with me.I gurantee he will not turn up today.’
The Muslims increased in apprehension and eventually it had passed midnight, and the athiest had a smile on his face. The clock ticked on, and finally Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah had arrived. The Muslims inquired about his lateness and remarked:
‘Oh Abu Hanifah, a messenger sent for you hours ago, and you arrive now, explain your lateness to us.’
Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah apologises for his lateness and begins to explain, while the atheist listens to his story.
‘Once the messenger delivered the message to me, I began to make my way to the River Tigris, and on reaching the river bank I realised there was no boat, in order to cross the river. It was getting dark, and I looked around, there was no boat anywhere nor was there a navigator or a sailor in order for me to cross the river to get to the Royal Palaces. I continued to look around for a boat, as I did not want the athiest to think I was running away and did not want to debate with him.'
'Now there I was standing on the river bank looking for a navigator or a boat when something caught my attention in the middle of the river -- I looked straight ahead, and to my amazement I saw planks of wood rising to the surface from the sea bed.'
'I was shocked, amazed, I couldn’t believe what I saw seeing. Ready made planks of wood were rising up to the surface and joining together. They were all the same width and length, I was astounded at what I saw.'
I continued to look into the middle of the river, and then I saw nails coming up from the sea floor. They positioned themselves onto the boat and held the planks together, without them being banged. I stood in amazement and thought to myself, ‘Oh Allah, how can this happen, planks of wood rising to the surface by itself, and then nails positioning themselves onto the boat without being banged?’ I could not undertsand what was happening before my eyes.’
-- The athiest meanwhile was listening with a smile on his face.
Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah continued:
‘There I was still standing on the river bank watching these planks of wood join together with nails. I could see water seeping through the gaps in the wood, and suddenly I saw a type of glue suddenly appear from the river and it began sealing the gaps without someone having poured it.'
And again I thought, ‘Ya Allah, how is this possible, how can sealant appear and seal the gaps without someone having poured it, and nails appear without someone having banged them.’
'Then I looked closer and I could see a boat forming before my eyes, I stood in amazement and was filled with shock. All of a sudden a sail appeared and I thought to myself, ‘Now how is this happening, a boat has appeared before my eyes by itself, planks of wood, nails, sealant and now a sail, but how can I use this boat in order to cross the river to the Royal Palaces?’
I stood staring in wonderment and suddenly the boat began to move. It came towards me against the current. It stood floating beside me while I was on the river bank, as if telling me to embark onto it.
'Well, I went on the boat and yet again it began to move. There was no navigator or sailor on the boat, and the boat began to travel towards the direction of the royal palaces, without anyone having programmed it as to where to go.'
'I could not imagine what was happening, and how this boat had formed and was taking me to my destination against the flow of water. The boat eventually reached the other side of the River Tigris and I disembarked. I turned around and the boat had disappeared, and that is why I am late.’
At this moment, the athiest brust out laughing and remarked:
‘Oh Abu Hanifah, I heard that you were the best debator from amongst the Muslims, I heard that you were the wisest, the most knowledgable from amongst your people.
From seeing you today, I can say that you show none of these qualities. You speak of a boat appearing from nowhere, without someone having built it.
Nails positioning themselves without someone having banged them, sealant being poured without someone having poured it, and the boat taking you to your destination without a navigator against the tide, your taking childish, your talking rediculous, I swear I do not belive a word of it!’
Abu Hanifah, Rahimullah turned to the athiest and replied:
‘You don’t believe a word of it? You dont believe that nails can appear by themselves? You dont believe sealant can be poured by itself? You dont believe that a boat can move without a navigator, hence you don’t believe that a boat can appear without a boat maker?’
The athiest remarked defiantly:
‘Yes. That's right! I dont believe a single word of it!’
Abu Hanifah Rahimullah replied:
‘If you cannot believe that a boat came into being without a boat maker, than this is only a boat - So, how can you believe that the whole world, the universe, the stars, the oceans, and the planets came into being without a creator?'
The athiest astonished at his reply got up and fled.

Darwin's (REAL) Theory

Evolution Of A Theory
Dawin Exposed
hoax darwin_bird_brained
The so-called 'Theory of Evolution' has produced a debate that has raged since Charles Darwin ever-so-hesitantly proposed this theory in his book, ‘On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection’ and that was 1859 –
This debate EVOLVED into a very serious clash of "Creation vs. Evolution".
Let's begin with Darwin's "evidence" for his theory.
Take a close look at each bird, all of them finches seen by Darwin while he was traveling through the Galapagos Islands, about 150 years ago:
hoax darwins_bird_brain
Darwin had theorized these birds were all from one common bird ancestor whose offspring had somehow managed to change the shape of their beaks to adapt to their various different environments.
His problem contained a number of false assumptions, not the least of which, is the fact that all of these birds were alive at the same time.
Another problem of his theory was shot down by a documentary filmed for educational TV and aired in October of 1998. I personally watched this program which was intended to deal with the subject of 'Global Warming' and 'El Nino' (a strange weather phenomenon causing weird conditions at various times throughout the year in Central and South America).
During the program, the announcer was talking about the amazing changes of the beaks of the birds on the Galapagos Islands.
Due to the severe changes in the eco-system the foliage had changed drastically, but at the same time so had the beaks of these finches.
The announcer mentions that in less than a few months (not millions of years) these beaks had changed so rapidly, the newl baby birds hatched out already equipped with the new beaks ready to handle the changes to their surroundings.
How is that possible? Miracle?
He even commented this would have a big impact on Darwin's Theory.
Let's take a look one theory regarding the neck of the giraffe and then think about it for a second..
HOAX Evolution_of_long_neck_in_giraff_as_per_Darwinism_thumb7
Is this really likely?
Take a minute to consider what these guys are offering to us. The original animal was small and got bigger, just do it could reach the food. Uh, that might make more sense if they said it was tall and got smaller as the food got closer to the ground.
Why?
Because if even one generation couldn't reach the food, they would have all died. The 'Natural Selection' would be more like 'Natural Decomposition'.
HOAX lucy_fake_frame
Now keep in mind THESE ARE ALL - ONLY THEORIES
Even though they try to cover up the word 'Theory' with so many of their 'observations', they still have the problem of two things:
1. Changing their 'theories' every time there is clear evidence against their position
2. Making up things to fit their stories and then covering up when they are found out.
Proof?
Glad you asked. Now take a look at these two very clear examples of lies, fabrications and coverups for the so-called 'numerous observations' of things in nature.
First - The 'Piltdown Man' Theory in England
"Discovered" in 1912 in a gravel pit in Piltdown, England - Piltdown Man was exposed as a hoax in 1953.
The whole 'evolution theory' seemed to be proven by bone fragments presented as the fossilised remains of a previously unknown early human. These fragments consisted of parts of a skull and jawbone, said to have been collected in 1912 from a gravel pit at Piltdown, East Sussex, England. The Latin name Eoanthropus dawsoni ("Dawson's dawn-man", after the collector Charles Dawson) was given to the specimen. The significance of the specimen remained the subject of controversy until it was exposed in 1953 as a forgery, consisting of the lower jawbone of an orangutan deliberately combined with the skull of a fully developed modern human. The Piltdown hoax is perhaps the most famous paleoanthropological hoax ever to have been perpetrated. It is prominent for two reasons: the attention paid to the issue of human evolution, and the length of time (more than 40 years) that elapsed from its discovery to its full exposure as a forgery.
Note: many more theories were based on these "findings" including papers, thesis for Ph.Ds and very provocative headlines with profound affect on folks in those days.
Politicians and pastors alike, used all to this attention to further their individual causes. Take for instance, the famous "Scopes Monkey Trial".

Evolution or Creation
(Islam Proves Both Exist)
Allah is Both: The Creator & The Evolver
Scopes Monkey Trial, was a famous American legal case in 1925 in which a high school teacher, John Scopes, was accused of violating Tennessee's Butler Act, which made it unlawful to teach human evolution in any state-funded school.[1] The trial was deliberately staged in order to attract publicity to the small town of Dayton, Tennessee, where it was held.
